Who Said Double Denim’s Out? Fall’s Coolest Trend Is Back!


Not gonna lie, I’m still not 100% sure how people in the States really see double denim (aka the “Canadian tuxedo” lol). Some say it’s a fashion risk, some say it’s iconic, but either way—it’s a look. In Korea though, denim-on-denim isn’t just a maybe-trend; it comes back every single year. What started off as a retro throwback vibe has now fully locked in as a real trend on its own. And honestly, fall is when it shines the most—cool breeze, cozy layers, and that perfect denim-on-denim moment. 🍂👖💙

Alright, let’s start with the basics of rocking double denim. The classic way? Pairing pieces in a similar wash or tone. Personally, I love matching a denim shirt with straight-leg jeans—it’s the easiest go-to combo. To keep it from looking too plain, I usually add a pop with accessories like a bag or shoes. And since it’s fall, imagine throwing on a suede bag with that look… absolute perfection. 🍂👖✨
